CHILD SAFETY

The safety and well-being of every child who walks through our doors is non-negotiable. At North Gold Coast Seahawks Basketball Association, we are fully committed to complying with the 10 Child Safe Standards under Queensland's Child Safe Organisations Act 2024, and to building a culture where every young person feels safe, respected, and empowered, on and off the court.

This is not a compliance exercise. We have invested in real policies, real training, and real accountability because our kids deserve nothing less. Every staff member, coach, volunteer, official, and parent connected to the Seahawks shares in this responsibility. If you ever have a concern, no matter how small,  we want to hear about it. All reports are treated with confidentiality, urgency, and respect.

We are proud of the framework we have built and will continue to improve it. That is our commitment to this community.
