It’s with a heavy heart that we inform our membership of the passing of Jean Littman. Jean had been battling an aggressive brain cancer for the past 15 months and passed away peacefully on Friday surrounding by family.
Jean was a major contributor to our association filling the role of Treasurer from 2011 – 2016 and also managing our accounts as a member of staff from 2011 – 2017. She was also heavily involved in our Junior Seahawks program, taking on Assistant Coaching roles for both Adam Tyrus and Bryan Allen. Those that knew Jean, knew of her passion for fitness, and this was another area that she assisted our young athletes, providing a variety of conditioning programs.
Many of Jean’s grandchildren played within our association over many years where she also coached within our junior domestic competition.
A ‘Celebration of Life’ Memorial will be held this Thursday January 16th @ 11:30 a.m. at Allambe Memorial Park, Parkview Chapel, Nerang-Broadbeach Road, Nerang. Dress code is colourful! This will be followed by a drink in her honour at Emerald Lakes Golf Club.
