In more exciting news for the North Gold Coast Seahawks Basketball Association, SmartSkill have agreed to terms as the naming rights sponsor of the Women’s Queensland State League team, as well as being the naming rights sponsor to our junior development program, Take Flight.
Director of Basketball and Head Coach of the QSL Women’s team, Brad Kann, is thrilled that SmartSkill are on board for another season.
“Suzanne and Darren Mackenzie, and their team at SmartSkill, have been extremely supportive of the association and this was noticed from the time I arrived here” said Kann.
“With these sorts of partnership arrangements, we are able to have specific junior development programs like Take Flight, where we deliver high performance sessions for selected junior players”
“On top of that, to have a naming rights partner for our Senior Women’s QSL team secure for a second straight season is a huge reward for our women, and for the association”
Director of SmartSkill, Suzanne Mackenzie, is proud of the progress the association has made with their continued partnership.
“We absolutely love our Seahawks, and everything that the association is about” said Mackenzie.
“A key focus with our sponsorship is that we want to be able to provide opportunities for juniors to develop their basketball skills, and we know with Brad, Marko and the team of coaches that kids are able to get these opportunities”
“We are also extremely proud to be naming rights of the QSL Women’s team”
“We want more young ladies playing Basketball and if this is our way of contributing to that, we will support it all the way”
