Cameron Healy Joins North Gold Coast Seahawks for NBL1 2024 Season

The North Gold Coast Seahawks proudly announce the signing of Cameron Healy to their NBL1 Men's team for the upcoming 2024 season. Healy's addition marks a significant enhancement to the Seahawks' roster, bringing with him a wealth of talent and experience that promises to elevate the team's performance.


Hailing from Sydney, the 190cm guard represented the Northside Wizards in 2023, arriving at the Seahawks with an impressive track record, having averaged 20.12 points per game, 3.53 assists, and 4.53 rebounds per game during the 2023 season. His stellar performances last season have not only caught the attention of the basketball community but also garnered interest from several NBL clubs considering him for a development player position.


Prior to his stint with the Northside Wizards, Healy honed his skills in the competitive environment of the US college basketball system. He showcased his prowess while playing for the Albany Great Danes from 2018 to 2021, before concluding his collegiate career at Central Michigan University.


In expressing his excitement about Healy's signing, Head Coach Colby Stefanovic remarked, "Signing Cam was a monumental acquisition for the club. The Seahawks feature in the NBL1 North season opener against the Logan Thunder on Thursday April 11.  The Seahawks open their home season on Friday 26th April when they host the Thunder for the second of their 2024 matchups.
