Caddie Jeffries named NBL1 Women's Head Coach

We are pleased to announce the appointment of Caddie Jeffries as our NBL1 Women’s Head Coach for the next two seasons.

Caddie comes to North Gold Coast from Logan, where she has spent the past 5 seasons as the lead Assistant Coach for the Thunder Women’s NBL1 team. Caddie has completed a substantial apprenticeship which also includes junior representative and Queensland state team coaching, and we are pleased to see her take the reigns as our NBL1 Head Coach for 2024 and 2025.

On her appointment, Caddie said “I’m super excited to be joining Seahawks and lead the group for the next two seasons. I’m looking forward to developing the culture of the NBL1 women’s program by bringing together a good group of people and playing an exciting style of Basketball. I respect the vision from the club, and look forward to getting involved with the Seahawks community at all levels"

Seahawks GM Brady Walmsley said “On behalf of the Seahawks Board and NBL1 Head Coach selection panel, we are thrilled to announce Caddie as our women’s Head Coach for the next two seasons. We see Caddie as someone who can offer our program growth and stability over an extended period, a strong partner in recruiting an NBL1 women’s team that will be competitive immediately, and a leader who will enthusiastically involve herself at all levels of our Association".

Welcome to the Seahawks, Caddie.
