We HIGHLY RECOMMEND that you register right away. Many players missed out in the Summer season as Club’s teams were filled in record time. Countless volunteer hours go into getting a new season prepared so the best way you can support your club is to register right away.
Our clubs are always looking for more volunteers, whether it be coaches, team managers or assisting with club admin. Volunteers are what make all of this happen so if you have an hour or two a week you could give please get in touch with your club and record areas you can volunteer form in the player registration form.
The season is currently postponed while we work through the Covid-19 pandemic. We are constantly reviewing as more information comes to hand. We are still calling for registrations however Game Fees do not need to be paid at this point in time. They can be collected by your club once we have dates locked in for trials/season start. Only pay the Competition Fee and BQ rego now to assist your club in preparing for the coming season, so once we get the all clear, we can get started as soon as possible. Basketball Queensland will be extending BQ rego expiry dates. You can read more from BQ on their Covid-19 FAQ page
The following information is indicative only. Calendars etc will be updated when we can confirm a return date for the competition.
Who do we play for?
North Gold Coast Seahawks Basketball have a number of member clubs servicing the entire northern and central Gold Coast region. Players are free to play for any club they choose, as they may have friends that already play, but we try to direct players to clubs based on the school that they attend. Movement between clubs requires a Clearance to be completed and is done between seasons unless extenuating circumstances exist.
To find a club in your area and to see which club your school is aligned to head to our Junior Club Contact page.
