Charli Reece Returns to the Nest for the 2026 NBL1 North Season

The North Gold Coast Seahawks are thrilled to announce the return of another homegrown talent, with Seahawks junior Charli Reece signing on for the 2026 NBL1 North season.

Reece, who came through the Seahawks junior pathway and began her senior career with the club, makes her return after a few seasons away from the game. Her comeback adds depth and versatility to the Seahawks’ backcourt and continues the club’s momentum following the recent re-signing of fellow junior and point guard Katie Deeble.

Reece said she’s grateful and excited for the opportunity to play at a high level once again.

“I’m grateful for the opportunity to compete again, especially returning to Seahawks. I’m excited to play for Brayden and for the season ahead,” Reece said.

Head Coach Brayden Heslehurst expressed his enthusiasm about adding Reece back into the lineup.

“We can’t wait to see Charli back playing for the Seahawks and I think she’s a player who has a lot of potential that we can bring out next season which will have a big impact on our team,” he said.

With the roster continuing to take shape, fans can expect more player signings to be announced in the coming weeks as the Seahawks build toward a strong 2026 campaign.
