In a massive recruitment victory for the QSL SmartSkill Seahawks Women’s team, Seahawk Junior Krystle McKenzie is heading back to the Nest for season 2021.
McKenzie represented North Gold Coast all through her junior career, as well as representing Queensland South, and was selected as a junior Opal as part of the U17 World Championships team.
Returning to the Seahawks was always one of McKenzie’s plan and she’s elated to get back into it all.
“I’m looking forward to getting this season under my belt and being a part of the journey that the club is currently on”
“I’ve got fond memories of my time throughout juniors and how much the club helped me on my way”
Head Coach for the QSL SmartSkill Seahawks Women’s team, Brad Kann, appreciates the importance McKenzie can add to the group.
“Krystle has had a phenomenal junior career and it’s exciting that she wants to continue her career with her junior club” said Kann.
“It’s exciting that we will have Krystle and the international experience she has, as a part of our squad for season 2021”
“I’m confident that we are on the right path for success this year”
