For our inaugural season in the NBL1 North competition in 2022, we are proud to announce that another of our clubs, Helensvale Hurricanes, are on board as a Silver Partner.
Helensvale Hurricanes are one of the four original clubs within the North Gold Coast Seahawks Basketball Junior club competition, and have seen the Association go from strength to strength since its inception 26 years ago.
President for the Helensvale Hurricanes, Suellen Langley, is incredibly proud her club can support the Seahawks in the NBL1 North competition in 2022.
“We think it’s tremendous that our association is in the NBL1 North competition this year,” said Langley.
“It’s incredible to think that our kids from U9’s all the way through to our U23’s have an opportunity to potentially one day wear the navy, teal and white in a competition that is viewed nationally”
“It’s also going to be a great reward for our many volunteer coaches, all of whom will have an opportunity to get to a game or two as a part of our partnership”
“We can’t wait for 2022 already!”
General Manager for the North Gold Coast Seahawks Dwayne Vale is excited for yet another club on board as a partner in season 2022.
“Suzie and her committee do an exceptional job of nurturing and growing our junior membership, and are incredibly passionate about having a clear and distinct pathway, for not only Hurricanes kids, but all kids,” said Vale.
“If I’m honest, I didn’t even need to ask the question of the Hurricanes to come on board. They approached me and offered their support for 2022”
“We are proud that our members are supporting our step into the NBL1 North competition next season, and we would like to thank the Helensvale Hurricanes for becoming a Silver Partner”
